This is a email sent out 3/4/2014 by Gerald Wilbanks concerning the Class of 1959's upcoming reunion:

Hello All,
I was reading some mail this morning and saw someone getting out the word for their high school class reunion, and our class immediately came to my mind.  Just in case anyone has forgotten, we will observe the 55th Anniversary of our graduation from Booneville High School on May 30 - 31, 2014.  Wow, in some ways, it does not seem that long ago, and in other ways, it does seem like ancient history, but things have changed a lot since 1959.  Please mark your calendars and plan to be in Booneville for this occasion and let's have a great turnout.  I do not have an e-mail address for everyone in our class, so help get the word out and remind everyone of these dates.  Please let me know of e-mail addresses that need to be corrected on my mail list.  Also, spread the word to others in classes just in front of us and those graduating right after us (1957, 1958, 1960, 1961) and any others who are interested.  The more, the merrier.

We will be sending out more detail information a little later, but I did want to send you an excerpt from our planning committee session and confirm this information for you.  Our planning team for this gathering includes (but is not limited to) Connie Sue Garner, Betty Rose Lothernore, Nina Beth Doran, Daris Wilbanks, Marcella Stell, Sammie Sue Weatherbee, Joyce Morgan, Jerry Long, and Gerald Wilbanks.

Date for class reunion:  May 30 - 31, 2014 (This will be the Friday and Saturday after Memorial Day this year).  Mark your calendars now and plan to let all the other class members know of the dates.

Friday, May 30, 2014:  Informal cookout at Joyce Morgan's (and Bill's) cabin just south of Booneville.  Start at 6:00 PM and have hot dogs, hamburgers, or BBQ (to be determined later).  Nina Beth Doran will bring the drinks (and Larry also) for the event.  A few of the ladies will be asked to prepare some desserts for those sweet lovers in the crowd.  We will just visit, eat, and talk as long as anyone wants to.  The exact directions to the cabin will be provided later for all of those attending.
We will need to have a reservation list, so the correct amount of food will be available.  There will be a small charge per head to cover the cost and can be paid that night at the cookout.

Saturday, May 31, 2014:  Morning Brunch at the Front Porch Restaurant in Booneville.  We will begin at 10:00 AM and have time to visit, take photos, and talk, with everyone paying for their own meal.  Joyce Morgan has made the contact and reserved the space at the restaurant for that morning.  We did this for our 50th class reunion and had a great time.

Saturday, May 31, 2014:  Class gathering for party and dinner at Ray's Place, outside Booneville.  This will start at 6:00 PM with a catered dinner at 7:00 PM.  We will have time to greet, talk, recall past times, and just have a good ole time, while enjoying a shrimp and chicken (or something) dinner.  This will be similar to what we did in 2009, and should be a real fun outing with some great food.  Everyone is encouraged to bring any photos, papers or other items of interest (grandchildren photos) to share with everyone that night.

Daris Wilbanks will arrange a cake for the event in honor of the Booneville High School Class of 1959.  There will be a charge per person based on the caterer food cost and the fee for Ray's Place.  We will need a reservation commitment and collect the dinner cost in advance to reduce any paper work that night.

There, you have it - sounds like a lot of fun, food, and fellowship with dear friends that we shared a lot of good times with.  The main thing is for YOU to be there and share in the good times with everyone.

See you there -----------------
